Noa Argamani was held captive by Hamas for eight months, approximately 245 days.

On the day of the Hamas attack, Noa Argamani had come with her boyfriend Avinatan to attend a music concert. From there he was taken hostage. Viral footage of that incident showed Argamani being forced into Gaza on the back of a motorcycle, screaming in frustration. That video also went viral on the internet.

A total of four people were freed

Israeli Defense Forces, IDF, conducted a rescue operation in Nuseirat in central Gaza on Saturday. In this operation, apart from Argamani, three other hostages Andrey Kozlov, Almog Meir Jan and Shlomi Ziv were also freed.

Got emotional after meeting her parents

After being rescued, Argamani was taken to a hospital in Tel Aviv, where she was reunited with her mother. The mother and daughter were reunited at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, where Leora is undergoing treatment. Argamani’s father Yaakov saw his daughter for the first time after being flown back to Israel by military helicopter. It was Argamani’s father Yaakov’s birthday, and he described meeting his daughter again as the greatest birthday gift he ever received.

Celebration in Tel Aviv

Thousands of Israelis gathered at a site known as “Hostage Square” in central Tel Aviv to celebrate the rescue and demand the release of the remaining hostages. Since the October 7 attacks, this intersection has become a focal point of demonstrations and solidarity.
Of the 252 people captured by Hamas, seven prisoners have been freed alive by Israeli forces. There are still 116 hostages in Gaza, of whom 41 are considered dead by the army.
