When will voting start for the presidential election?
On November 5, polling stations will open in some US states between 7 am and 9 am (US time). If we talk about Indian time, it will start at around 4.30 pm on November 5 and will continue till 6.30 am on November 6.

What is the final survey saying?
A recent New York Times/Sina poll shows that there is a tough race between Trump and Harris in Pennsylvania. Both are expected to get 48 percent votes. Meanwhile, according to Five Thirty Eight’s national polls tracker, Harris is 1 percent ahead of Trump. However, this lead is decreasing, which indicates that there is a strong possibility of either of them winning.
On the other hand, the contest between Harris and Trump is becoming even tougher in the states considered important for electing the next President. Based on the latest surveys, the lead of the candidates is constantly changing. These major states include Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin and Nevada.
According to Five Thirty Eight’s daily tracker, Harris has a slight lead in Michigan and Wisconsin. There their difference is about 0.8 points and 0.6 points respectively.
On the other hand, Trump is leading in Arizona. There he currently has a lead of 2.5 points over Harris. His lead in North Carolina and Georgia is about 1.5 points. Additionally, Trump is leading by 0.9 points in Nevada and has a slight lead of 0.3 points in the key state of Pennsylvania.
